Who Assesses the Assessors?

It's a question every certification body should be able to answer with confidence.

Telarc is accredited by JAS-ANZ (the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand), an internationally recognised accreditation body responsible for assessing certification organisations like ours. Through its membership of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), JAS-ANZ operates within a global framework that promotes consistency, competence, and confidence in certification services.

Each year, Telarc undergoes rigorous independent assessment against the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021, the international standard for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems. This accreditation provides assurance that our certification activities are conducted with competence, impartiality, and integrity.

Our commitment to quality extends beyond accreditation. Every Telarc assessor is professionally trained and qualified, with extensive industry experience across a broad range of sectors. Many also hold internationally recognised credentials through organisations such as IRCA (International Register of Certified Auditors) and Exemplar Global.

To maintain complete independence, Telarc does not provide consultancy services to certification clients. This separation ensures our assessments remain objective, impartial, and trusted by organisations, regulators, and stakeholders throughout New Zealand.
