Our History and Culture
Telarc has been supporting New Zealand organisations through certification and assessment services for more than 50 years.
Telarc was established as part of New Zealand's accreditation framework and continues to operate as a wholly New Zealand-owned subsidiary of the Accreditation Council. It is recognised by JAS-ANZ (Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand) as an accredited Certification and Registration Body.
Telarc's roots can be traced back to the establishment of the Testing Laboratory Registration Council in 1972, which was created to provide confidence in the quality and competence of testing, inspection, and certification services in New Zealand. Over time, Telarc expanded its focus into management systems certification and has become one of New Zealand's leading providers of ISO and NZ Standards certification services.
Today, Telarc works with organisations across a wide range of industries and has built its reputation on helping businesses achieve certification while improving operational performance and reducing risk.
