ISO 9001:2026 & ISO 14001:2026 Are Coming

The revised ISO 14001:2026 Environmental Management Systems standard has now been published, with ISO 9001:2026 Quality Management Systems expected in September 2026.

The updated standards introduce improved structure, clearer language, stronger leadership expectations, greater focus on climate change, ethics, quality culture, organisational knowledge, and enhanced risk and opportunity management.

A three-year transition period is expected, giving certified organisations time to review and implement any necessary changes.

Telarc is currently reviewing both standards and will provide clients with transition guidance, comparison tables, and certification updates as further information becomes available.
