Every organisation collects valuable confidential data. Using ISO 27001 will help you manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted to you by third parties.
As data has gained more importance in business, the security of that information has become even more crucial. There are legal obligations to meet and sensitive information to protect.
ISO 27001 Information Security certification protects the integrity, availability and confidentiality of data, and avoids breaches that may incur financial penalties.
ISO 27001 describes best practice for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). It specifies the requirements for implementing, maintaining and continually improving information security. Achieving ISO 27001 certification demonstrates that your company is following best practice in information security.
This standard is supported by its code of practice for information security management, ISO/IEC 27002:2013.

How to achieve certification
Contact Telarc using our quote request form and we will help you through the process to achieve the certification(s) your organisation strives for.
The standards can be complex, but we’ve made it easy with simplified self-evaluation checklists that break down what you need to have implemented to meet the requirements of the standard. You can use the checklist to determine to what extent you already meet the requirements to become accredited, and which gaps need to be addressed.
Once you’re satisfied that your organisation meets the requirements, Telarc will audit your systems and either issue the certification or identify non-conformances that you need to address before certification is granted.
