Anyone who supplies food other than meat to McDonald’s is expected to join the McDonald’s Supplier Quality Management System (SQMS). The standard is intended to help McDonald's supply consistently safe, quality products.
SQMS is a standard McDonald's uses to ensure food safety and quality. It applies to businesses that supply food products to McDonald’s.
If you currently supply food products to McDonald’s, you are expected to join the McDonalds Supplier Quality Management System. (Meat is the exception here, with a different standard governing meat supply.)
Telarc is qualified to conduct food safety audits on behalf of McDonald’s Australia Ltd. McDonald's products must be in production at the time of the onsite audit. SQMS audits may be combined with other audit activity, saving you time and money.
If your operation meets the standard, McDonald’s will issue the SQMS certificate.
Telarc’s expert team will make the experience of attaining McDonald’s SQMS easy.

How to achieve certification
Contact Telarc using our quote request form and we will help you through the process to achieve the certification(s) your organisation strives for.
The standards can be complex, but we’ve made it easy with simplified self-evaluation checklists that break down what you need to have implemented to meet the requirements of the standard. You can use the checklist to determine to what extent you already meet the requirements to become accredited, and which gaps need to be addressed.
Once you’re satisfied that your organisation meets the requirements, Telarc will audit your systems and either issue the certification or identify non-conformances that you need to address before certification is granted.
