Companies who supply fresh food products to Progressive supermarkets in New Zealand or Woolworths in Australia have to meet the Woolworths Supplier Excellence standard for food safety, quality and legality.
The Woolworths Supplier Excellence (WSE) standard applies to companies who supply fresh food products to Progressive supermarkets in New Zealand and Woolworths Australia. The WSE standard is benchmarked against global food standards and international retailing best practice. The standard focuses on food safety, quality and legality.
WSE certification provides an assurance to Woolworths and Progressive that the WSE standard is being maintained effectively.
Telarc auditors are authorised to conduct WSE audits. To make things easier and more cost-effective for you, Telarc can integrate and combine audits for different standards.
Should you meet the requirements, Woolworths (Australia) will issue the certificate of compliance.
Telarc’s expert team will make the experience of attaining Woolworths Supplier Excellence compliance easy.

How to achieve certification
Contact Telarc using our quote request form and we will help you through the process to achieve the certification(s) your organisation strives for.
The standards can be complex, but we’ve made it easy with simplified self-evaluation checklists that break down what you need to have implemented to meet the requirements of the standard. You can use the checklist to determine to what extent you already meet the requirements to become accredited, and which gaps need to be addressed.
Once you’re satisfied that your organisation meets the requirements, Telarc will audit your systems and either issue the certification or identify non-conformances that you need to address before certification is granted.
